BC² = (5x)² + 2 * 5x * 15 + 15²
BC² = 25x² 150x + 225

CA² + AB² = (4x + 12)² + (3x + 9)²
CA² + AB² = (4x)² + 2 * 4x * 12 + 12² + (3x)² + 2 * 3x * 9 + 9²
CA² + AB² = 16x² + 96x + 144 + 9x² + 54x + 81
CA² + AB² = 25x² + 150x + 225

On remarque que BC² = CA² + AB².
Donc d'après la réciproque du Théorème de Pythagore, le triangle ABC est rectangle en A.
